Still haven't started it yet--I've had a rougher semester than I anticipated and I haven't had much time to play games yet. In my opinion, System Shock 2 is the best ever FPS/RPG game. As such I was wondering if I can tweak the difficulty with a patch or something. Any stuff you need to know from the original game is explained to you somewhere along the line (and you're not the same character as in the original game, so that works out.) And if you do, I'm sure someones put out some graphics mods for it. Since then, the System Shock series has been put on hold and in its place was the spiritual successor BioShock. Are there any aspects or tricks within the game that I should know in order to get the best experience out of it? Personally my best play-through was playing the navy guy with hacking and guns - explored everything in one go. I think the complaints about SS1's controls and interface are vastly overblown. You can get poisoned/ radiated. Still one of the best FPS RPGs out there. I'm not sure if there's a guide to getting all the audio logs. I got System Shock 2 recently at the Steam Sale and want to start playing it soon. There surely is some guides for the audio logs.
